Stores are supposed to then take what they’ve received and donate it to a local charity. The workers have to figure out what charity they’ll partner with, and have to do the leg work of coordinating the donations themselves.
And let me guess, they’re either expected to do this in their free time or not miss their targets if they do it during work
Gonna be donated to goodwill
Gonna be donated to the dumpster out back, more like.
I don’t work there and I also say it will be a huge mess
Well the upper management wont have to deal with the mess so they’re fine with putting it all on the employees that they’ll be exploiting that day
It was a dumb idea from the beginning, trying to be an electronics pawn shop. Only the trade-ins are just as worthless as the game ones were.
The number of memestock bros who still hype Gamestop despite all the massive missteps they’ve made in the last few years is fucking unreal. They desperately meme “diamond hands” when they’re fucking bagholders.
Look out, Gamestop! About a billion scratched copies of FIFA are coming your way!
I can imagine some of the absolutely disgusting things that will be brought in from this. It’s already bad enough without a day to bring in “anything”. Too bad the executives in charge of these dumb ideas never have to put up with this crap.
If I bring in some old Bad Dragon toys, am I gonna get more than $5? 🤔
If I bring in a box of rocks will I get credit for that.
Only if your name is not Charlie Brown.
