You’re saying it’s a suprise Venezia (Venice), has the most yearly tourists? Seems unsuprising to me. It’s all everyone talks about.

I mean Venice has near 10 times the name recognition of say Colmar.

I think a better comparison might be Machu Pichu in Peru?

There’s not much unfortunately. If you have a couple bucks free you could donate to one of the better labs. Ie. this excellent genetics team. But I realise that isn’t feasible for most people.

Otherwise just maybe reading a short article about how politically marginalised the illness is could be helpful. In having more people “woke” on this issue. This article by Monbiot is short and works quite well.
