You’d think that but in the American legal system corporations are civil rights bearing people, you’re not related to your parents unless you maintain the same address, and objects can be suspected and tried for criminal acts and assumed guilty until proven otherwise.

The argument that corporations have civil rights is how the Supreme Court justified eliminating anti bribery laws that curtailed political funding from corporations.

It’s better if the police budget is spent on replacing tires rather than purchasing even more unnecessary surplus military equipment which they will then try to justify using.

All of this would take maximum less than a week to be reversed and paid by residents taxes.

That’s a week less with fewer cops beating and killing innocent people. Maybe it’s worth it to avoid paying taxes out to grieving families and disabled victims in settlements.

The part that really shocked me is that it got even upvotes and downvotes… Mask off, I absolutely admit that was a troll shit post, I didn’t take it seriously but I also took it seriously enough to not add a /s. I expected to be downvoted to oblivion, I didn’t expect it to be on par. That’s a litmus test for ya.

Edit: Until I downvoted myself that is, now it’s 6 up and 8 down. Seriously though, glad you pushed back against that.
